Bamboo Bungalow was a complete renovation of a Hendersonville home, transforming the property into a finished two-bedroom, two-bath home. The project included extensive interior and exterior improvements, with hands-on involvement throughout the renovation from demolition and rebuilding through finishes and final details.

KITCHEN RENOVATION
The kitchen was completely renovated as part of the transformation, including removing a wall to create a more open connection with the living area. The renovation included new cabinetry, countertops, flooring, lighting, appliances and finishes.
BATHROOM RENOVATION &
EN SUITE ADDITION
The original bathroom was completely renovated with new fixtures, tile, flooring, lighting and finishes, creating a brighter, more functional space with an updated look.
A new en suite bathroom was created from existing interior space, with the original doorway closed and a new wall and entrance built from the primary bedroom. The new bathroom includes plumbing, a tub with tile surround, fixtures, flooring, lighting and finishes.
LIVING ROOM TRANSFORMATION
The living area was completely transformed by removing the wall separating it from the kitchen and opening the two spaces into one continuous living, dining and kitchen area. The renovation also included new flooring, drywall, lighting, windows, doors, trim, paint and finishes throughout the space.
THE RENOVATION
Bamboo Bungalow underwent a complete renovation, with virtually every component of the home and property replaced, rebuilt or improved. The interior was extensively reconfigured, including removing walls, framing new closets and the new en suite bathroom, reworking the hallway and doorways, and completely rebuilding the laundry area. The home received all-new electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems, along with a new metal roof, vinyl siding, windows, interior and exterior doors, insulation and drywall. Every visible surface was completed with new flooring, cabinetry, tile, trim, paint, fixtures and finishes.
The property also required extensive site work, including bamboo removal, grading, excavation for a new parking pad, new landscaping and a patio area. A new deck was constructed over the existing front porch, completing the exterior transformation.
I personally completed approximately 90% of the renovation work, while coordinating licensed specialty trades where required.
