WHAT IS GC FOR THE DAY?
Not every construction project needs a full remodeling contract. GC for the Day is designed for smaller projects—or several projects around your property—that need experienced, hands-on attention.
You reserve a dedicated day of my time, and I work directly on your project for up to eight hours. That might mean completing one larger task or working through several smaller projects on your list.
I offer GC for the Day on a limited basis when my schedule allows between my own construction, renovation and investment projects.
HOW GC FOR THE DAY WORKS
TELL ME WHAT YOU NEED
Send me a description of the work, photos if helpful, and the location of the property. If you have several projects, include the full list so I can get a good idea of what you want to accomplish.
WE PLAN THE DAY
I'll review the work with you beforehand so we can prioritize the projects, determine what's realistic for one day, and identify any materials or preparation needed before I arrive.
I GET TO WORK
I spend the scheduled day working through the agreed priorities for up to eight hours, completing as much as reasonably possible without sacrificing the quality of the work.
A FULL DAY OF HANDS-ON WORK
$750 FOR UP TO 8 HOURS OF LABOR
Reserve a dedicated day of my time to work through the project priorities we've agreed on beforehand.
The $750 rate covers labor only. Materials, permits, specialty equipment and any licensed specialty trades required for the work are additional.
If the work requires more than one day or is better suited for a traditional remodeling or construction project, I'll let you know before we schedule the work.

As a licensed contractor, I'm subject to the standards and oversight of the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors, giving customers an established avenue for complaints involving potential licensing violations.
IS GC FOR THE DAY RIGHT FOR YOUR PROJECT?
GC for the Day is intended for smaller projects that can reasonably be completed—or make meaningful progress—in a dedicated workday.
Larger renovations, projects requiring extensive planning or permitting, and work involving multiple specialty trades may be better handled as a traditional construction project.
